Sudanese Community of Austin Texas (SCATX) is a non-profit organization; its members are committed to preserve and maintain the diverse Sudanese culture and carry it over to the next generations. SCATX is dedicated to help immigrants integrate successfully into American society and work creatively to improve the individual's confidence and sense of empowerment through cultural adaptation. The SCATX fosters pride in Sudanese culture treats, lifting our community members by supporting and mentoring initiatives, lectures, classes, conferences, and study groups. Our core principle is to empower our youth to reach God-given potential by unleashing their hidden capacities.

The Sudanese Community of Austin Texas (SCATX) was established to serve Sudanese-Americans and the community at large. It carries on human relations and activities on a charitable basis for the purpose of demonstrating to the community the positive force of Austin's Sudanese-American citizens. It plans, promotes, and carries out other charitable, educational and cultural activities which best serve the welfare of Americans of Sudanese descent and the community at large.

The Sudanese Community of Austin Texas (SCATX) is an ethnic organization that was founded in 2022 to celebrate the heritage and culture of Austin's Sudanese American community. The SCATX strives to preserve the core values of our beautiful Sudanese cultural heritage that glues the social fabric of our community. SCATX is a place where history is taught, memories are shared, and friends gather. The Community Center ought to be a place that gives back to Sudanese Americans of all ages by keeping our heritage alive through organized events such as religious celebrations, festivals, food, music performances, sports, and many other activities.
